A Hidden Tune

The soft torture; realities sadness sinks in.

Dancing to the rhythm of a hidden tune.

Feet dragged about as if in chains.

Voices faded into whispers.

Red glossy eyes and whitish cheeks.

Tears evaporating into the air giving every breath a sour taste.

Feelings and emotions colder than the cold.

A cold that must be felt.

Because even a thousand jerseys can’t suddenly make emotions warm.

The word LOVE itself has an L for the loss.

We loose something in the hope of gaining more.

But sometimes there’s no gain.

Sometimes it starts out and ends all a loss.

Misdirection,

Lost happiness,

Lost time,

Lost love,

And hearts left with missing pieces.

The soft torture; realities sadness sinking in.

Dancing to the rhythm of a hidden tune.

My feet move but my heart isn’t in the mood.

I just want to rest.

I just want to chill.

Let everything pass me by for a moment.

Have my thoughts focusing on something new.
