The Kiss

I nearly drooled as I stared at her lips.
It was as If I hadn’t seen them but had seen them before,
Tantalizing, so inviting, they had such an amazing glow.
The lump in my throat began to grow, my heart felt like it would blow;
When to make my move I didn’t know
I was just going to throw my cards on the floor.
Whatever she felt I was sure my way it was gonna go,
I just went for it, tried so much to be smooth.
Our noses gently brushed, I closed my eyes awaiting the pleasures her tongue would bring.
I then heard a phone ring, to my surprise this had all been a dream.
